《时间飞船24》是根据1975年的电视动画《时间飞船》为基础进行重制，龙之子工作室负责制作的原创电视动画。[1] 虽然名为重制，实际上世界观、角色等都有了大幅的变动。 主人公时夫是居住在现代东京的初中2年生。某天，他突然被任命为24世纪的组织·时空管理局的队员，并得知了惊人的事实：实际上教科书上记载的历史全部都是虚假，在过去沉睡着比教科书更加有趣的真实历史“真历史”。比如，被称为绝世美女的埃及艳后实际上是名叫克莱夫和帕特拉的相声演员，正义的伙伴桃太郎实际上是比鬼还要像鬼的男人……时夫与队员可怜一同驱使着24台时间飞船前去探索真历史，这24台时间飞船能够通过变身或合体发挥出超常的力量。而阻挡在时夫等人面前的则是时间飞船系列中为人熟知的反派，这一作的反派名叫比玛乔、兹布亚基、铃木，是被世界最大的教科书公司“History Paradise”雇佣来守护遵循教科书的历史的。究竟即将揭晓的历史会是怎样的“真历史”呢？
A young boy takes his mother&♯39;s place in a group of gemstone-based beings, and must learn to control his powers. This series is set in the fictional Beach City, where ageless alien warriors, the Crystal Gems, live in an ancient beachside temple, protecting the world from evil. They project female humanoid forms from magical gemstones that are the core of their being. The Crystal Gems are Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Steven, a young half-human, half-Gem boy who inherited his gemstone from his mother, the Gems&♯39; former leader Rose Quartz. As Steven tries to figure out his powers, he spends his days with his human father Greg, his friend Connie, other people in Beach City, or the other Gems, whether to help them save the world or just to hang out. He explores the abilities passed down to him by his mother, which include fusion (the ability of Gems to merge their identities and bodies to form a new and more powerful personality).
The series takes place in the whimsical world of Jollywood, where Queen Delightful relies on the 7D - Happy, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Dopey, Grumpy and Doc - to keep the kingdom in order. Standing in their way are two laughably evil villains, Grim and Hildy Gloom, who plot to take over the kingdom by stealing the magical jewels in the 7D&♯39;s mine. With seven very distinct personalities, the 7D always manage to save the day and send Grim and Hildy running back to their evil lair to try another day.
