 本片改编自同名小说，讲述了在求职活动屡战屡败、正感到迷茫之际，清水美空（滨边美波 饰）作为实习生因缘际会进入殡葬公司“坂东会馆”，成为新人殡葬策划师，而严厉指导她、同时也是将她发掘并招募进公司的策划师漆原礼二（目黑莲 饰），则成为她的引路人。之后，两人组成搭档，共同追求“最好的葬礼”，展开一段感人至深的故事。

　　根据史实改编，在卢森堡实地取景，讲述第一次世界大战谢幕阶段，美军与德军对迭的血腥十月。这是联军的最强组合，由一位平民士兵带领下，一群来自爱尔兰、意大利、犹太及波兰等地共500个年轻勇敢的士兵肩负起攻打德国的艰辛任务。在烈火遍野的战地上，敌众我寡的情况下，他们只有两条出路：投降或战死。他们却选取了第三个抉择，因而成为举世赞颂的人民英雄。

　　A series of unexplainable accidents befall the people and companies responsible for developing the world&♯39;s first supersonic airliner (SST1). A British agent is sent to investigate and with the help of another agent uncovers a plot masterminded by Carl Petersen who stands to gain eight million pounds if the aircraft is not ready by a certain date. The evil Petersen has developed a number of "robots" (actually rather beauti***irls with "electronic brains") to help him sabotage the SST1 project by means of "infrasound" (extreme low frequency sound waves) which can be directed at people or objects with devastating results.

　　Ukrainian surgeon Serhiy is captured by the Russian military forces in the conflict zone in Eastern Ukraine and while in captivity, he is exposed to horrifying scenes of humiliation, violence and indifference towards human life. 　　After successfully leading his team to crack a major fraud case, the leader of the Anti-Fraud Society, Zeng Miao Zhu, uncovers an even larger conspiracy lurking in the shadows. He then assigns elite members Lam, Arrow, Big Mouth, and Ba Jie to infiltrate the money game controlled by Tang Gang. Their mission is to become the spokespersons for the project, quickly attracting a large influx of funds while simultaneously collecting evidence of criminal activity. However, after Tang Gang reaps enormous profits, the plan takes a sudden turn. Arrow is promoted by Tang Gang to become the spokesperson for a new wave of fraudulent schemes, leading to suspicion and internal conflict within the Anti-Fraud Society. Moreover, the society accidentally discovers that an even more powerful hand is manipulating everything behind the money game. As their investigation deepens, they gradually uncover a horrifying murder case that occurred in China 20 years ago. This long-buried case not only involves local elites but is also intricately linked to the current financial fraud network, plunging the entire Anti-Fraud Society into even greater danger and challenges.
