　　onique Watson, a 12 years old African American girl goes missing from her Brooklyn home. Her father Micheal Watson does everything on his power to find his little girl, he holds himself up through faith and will. The police are having a hard time finding her, when Christian Baker a young New York City journalist from The Chronicle gets assigned to her story. Christian tries to get the assignment done, he quickly and poorly researches the story and goes with the first lead. This brings down an unexpected series of events. Christian with guilt decides to join Micheal on his search and takes upon himself to race time and help find Monique.

　　The Doll is an adaptation of the novel, The Doll (novel) by Bolesław Prus, which is regarded by many as one of the finest Polish novels ever written and, along with Pharaoh (novel), made Bolesław Prus a potential candidate for the Nobel Prize in literature. The influence of Émile Zola is evident, and some have compared the novel to Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert; both were Prus&♯39;s contemporaries. The movie, however, may be more compared to Stendhal&♯39;s Le Rouge et le Noir, (The Red and the Black).
　　The Doll constitutes a panorama of life in Warsaw between 1878 and 1879, and at the same time is a subtle story of three generations of Polish idealists, their psychological complications, their involvement in the history of the nineteenth century, social dramas, moral problems and the experience of tragic existence. At the same time this story describes the disintegration of social relationships and the growing separation of a society whose aristocratic elite spreads the models of vanity and idleness. In the bad air of a backward country, anti-Semitic ideas are born, valuable individuals meet obstacles on their way, and scoundrels are successful.
　　This poetic love story follows a nouveau riche merchant, Stanislaw Wokulski, through a series of trials and tribulations occasioned by his obsessive passion for an aristocratic beauty, Izabela Lecka, played by the famous Polish actress, Beata Tyszkiewicz.
　　Plot:
　　As a descendant of an impoverished Polish noble family, young Wokulski is forced to work as a waiter at Hopfer&♯39;s, a Warsaw restaurant, while dreaming of a life in science. After taking part in the failed 1863 Uprising against Tsarist Russia, he is sentenced to exile in Siberia. On eventual return to Warsaw, he becomes a salesman at Mincel&♯39;s haberdashery. Marrying the late owner&♯39;s widow (who eventually dies), he comes into money and uses it to set up a partnership with a Russian merchant he had met while in exile. The two merchants go to Bulgaria during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-78, and Wokulski makes a fortune supplying the Russian Army. The enterprising Wokulski now proves a romantic at heart, falling in love with Izabela, daughter of the vacuous, bankrupt aristocrat, Tomasz Łęcki. In his quest to win Izabela, Wokulski begins frequenting theatres and aristocratic salons; and to help her financially distressed father, founds a company and sets the aristocrats up as shareholders in his business.The indolence of these aristocrats, who secure with their pensions, are too lazy to undertake new business risks, frustrates Wokulski. His ability to make money is respected but his lack of family and social rank is condescended to. Because of his "help" (in secret) to Izabela&♯39;s impecunious but influential father, the girl becomes aware of his affection. In the end she consents to accept him, but without true devotion or love.(wikipedia)

　　布赖恩凭借出色的车技、和飞车党一起进行犯罪活动很快就赢得了卡特的信任，并和他成了好朋友。同时，另一名同为飞车党卧底的女警梦妮卡（伊娃•门德斯 Eva Mendes 饰）闯进了布赖恩的生活，布赖恩不知不觉中爱上了梦妮卡。梦妮卡已经获得了不少卡特的犯罪证据，但是她和卡特之间的暧昧关系却说不清道不明。

　　尼娜和莉兹被送进同一间精神病院，并在此相识。尼娜对父亲的死心怀愧疚，悲惨事件发生以来一直情绪低落。至于莉兹，她是个有点精神错乱的女孩，曾试图自杀，因此被监禁于此。一个周末晚上，莉兹劝服尼娜一起溜出医院，和自己的男朋友以及其他朋友将城市漆成一片红色。然而事情并没有照计划进行……

　　为了谈生意，鲁滨逊（皮埃尔·理查德 Pierre Richard 饰）登上了前往非洲的圣卢西娅号邮轮，哪知道旅行途中遭到了船长和大副的陷害，鲁滨逊被扔上了一艘小船，抛弃在茫茫大海之上。身陷险境的鲁滨逊并没有放弃生存的希望，他好不容易来到了一座荒岛之上，哪知道很快，鲁滨逊就在岛上发现了已经遭遇了海难的圣卢西娅号。
　　靠着船上的物资，鲁滨逊顽强的在荒岛上生存了下来。一次偶然中，鲁滨逊解救了一名被当地野人抓住的印第安人，给他取名星期五（尼古拉斯·卡萨雷 Nicolas Cazalé 饰），终于，鲁滨逊有伴了。星期五不识字也不会说话，于是鲁滨逊担任了他的老师的职务。

　　叙述一位英国绅士Anthony Ross 爵士为了寻找失踪多年的儿子，于是他筹组了一支探险队展开行动，他的儿子当初是去寻找北极一带火山谷一个传说中的古老维京人部落，结果从此音讯全无，心急如焚的父亲因此才想尽办法组织探险队进行搜寻任务，这支队伍包括一位美国籍的考古学家、一位法籍发明家、一位追踪者以及英国企业家等等，当他们逼近目的地的时候，却意外闯入一个被时间遗忘的失落世界！这世界里有仍过着十世纪生活的维京人、火山爆发、鲸鱼墓场…等等，在这一连串的冒险当中，面对希望秘密永远被埋藏的那一群维京人，探险队面临到很难全身而退的危险局面！

　　Yitzhak runs the turkey farm his father built with his own two hands after they emigrated from Iran to Israel. When his son Moti turns thirteen, Yitzhak teaches him the trade, hoping that he will continue the proud family tradition. But Moti doesn&♯39;t like working in the turkey barn; his passion is fixing up junkyard cars and bringing them back to life. Moti&♯39;s mother Sarah tries to reconcile between the two, while his grandfather pushes Yitzhak to take a firm hand with his son. Yitzhak takes Moti&♯39;s refusal to work in the turkey barn as a personal rejection. Though he loves his son dearly, he makes it his mission to impose the family farm on Moti. The arrival of Darius, the uncle from America, sets off a chain of events that will undermine the familial harmony. Soon enough Yitzhak will learn that his son is just as stubborn as he is. 　　阿寅在小岛的一片墓地休息时，遇到来祭拜祖母的阿文，她在大阪工作，奶奶不愿离开小岛，一个人留在岛上。现在，她已经故去，阿文只好到墓地来看望她想念的奶奶。在大阪，阿寅再次见到了阿文，他这才知道，外表典雅、文静的阿文原来是个艺伎，她有许多不得已的应酬。在谈天时，她告诉阿寅，自己有一个弟弟失散了多年，弟弟是五六岁时离开的，现在应该有近20年了。阿寅鼓励她找回弟弟，并陪同她找到弟弟工作的工地，方知道，弟弟是一个月以前突然心脏病发作而去世的，是大家为他料理了后事。悲痛的阿文来到弟弟整齐的宿舍，在这个世界上，她惟一的亲人也走了，这使她备感凄然，她不禁为自己的迟到而懊悔。回到家里，阿寅还在惦记着阿文，直到她来银屋看望大家并带来了她要结婚的好消息，她准备和丈夫回小岛开一家小寿司店。无奈的阿寅再一次品尝到失恋的滋味。
