　　马克（卡尔亨兹·伯恩 Karlheinz Böhm 饰）是一名摄影师，热爱摄影的他随身都携带着他父亲留给他的一台手持摄影机。一起连环杀人案件在城中引起了恐慌，被害者均为女性，死去时，她们的脸上布满了极为恐惧的表情，而仪表堂堂的马克，就是犯下这些可怕罪行的真凶。原来，马克的父亲是一位研究儿童恐惧的心理学家，作为他的实验对象，从小马克就被各种各样突如其来的惊吓所包围，这样长久的恐惧和压抑导致了他扭曲的性格，也成为了一切惨剧的导火索。

　　April has spent the last two years of high school in a relationship with Nick—from first frantic make-out session to final tear-stained breakup. 　　Yitzhak runs the turkey farm his father built with his own two hands after they emigrated from Iran to Israel. When his son Moti turns thirteen, Yitzhak teaches him the trade, hoping that he will continue the proud family tradition. But Moti doesn&♯39;t like working in the turkey barn; his passion is fixing up junkyard cars and bringing them back to life. Moti&♯39;s mother Sarah tries to reconcile between the two, while his grandfather pushes Yitzhak to take a firm hand with his son. Yitzhak takes Moti&♯39;s refusal to work in the turkey barn as a personal rejection. Though he loves his son dearly, he makes it his mission to impose the family farm on Moti. The arrival of Darius, the uncle from America, sets off a chain of events that will undermine the familial harmony. Soon enough Yitzhak will learn that his son is just as stubborn as he is. 　　Two differences between this Austrian version and the generally available American version are immediately obvious: they differ both in their length and in the language of the intertitles. The American version is only 1,883 metres long - at 18 frames per second a difference of some 7 minutes to the Austrian version with 2,045 metres. Whereas we originally presumed only a negligible difference, resulting from the varying length of the intertitles, a direct comparison has nevertheless shown that the Austrian version differs from the American version both in the montage and in the duration of individual scenes. Yet how could it happen that the later regional distribution of a canonical US silent film was longer than the "original version"?
　　The prevalent American version of Blind Husbands does not correspond to the version shown at the premiere of 1919. This little-known fact was already published by Richard Koszarski in 1983. The film was re-released by Universal Pictures in 1924, in a version that was 1,365 feet (416 metres) shorter. At 18 frames per second, this amounts to a time difference of 20 minutes! "Titles were altered, snippets of action removed and at least one major scene taken out entirely, where von Steuben and Margaret visit a small local chapel." (Koszarski)
　　From the present state of research we can assume that all the known American copies of the film derive from this shortened re-release version, a copy of which Universal donated to the Museum of Modern Art in 1941. According to Koszarski the original negative of the film was destroyed sometime between 1956 and 1961 and has therefore been irretrievably lost. This information casts an interesting light on the Austrian version, which can be dated to the period between the summer of 1921 and the winter of 1922. Furthermore, the copy is some 200 metres longer than the US version of 1924. If one follows the details given by Richard Koszarski and Arthur Lennig, this means that, as far as both its date and its length are concerned, the Austrian version lies almost exactly in the middle between the (lost) version shown at the premiere and the re-released one.A large part of the additional length of the film can be traced to cuts that were made to the 1924 version in almost every shot. Koszarski describes how the beginning and the end of scenes were trimmed, in order to "speed up" the film. However, more exciting was the discovery that the Austrian version contains shots that are missing in the American one - shots/countershots, intertitles - and furthermore shows differences in its montage (i.e. the placing of the individual shots within a sequence). All this indicates that Die Rache der Berge constitutes the oldest and most completely preserved material of the film.

　　本片根据小泉八云同名短篇小说改编，并荣获1965年戛纳电影节评委会特别奖、1966年每日电影最佳艺术指导和最佳摄影两项大奖。

　　江戸城大奥では、将軍の子を身ごもった二人の女、側室の環（行友圭子）とお千加の方（松尾嘉代）の権力争いが繰り広げられていた。そして大目付の板倉将監（小池朝雄）と組んだ大奥総取締役の錦小路（久保菜穂子）の企てで、敵対する人間が次々と殺され、それは眠狂四郎の仕業として広められた。そのため、江戸市中では、眠狂四郎が血と女に狂ってしまったと大騒ぎになっていた。そんなある日、狂四郎は白昼堂々、お庭番の集団の襲撃を受け、これを退けるが、その帰路で出くわした、大奥の女・小夜（藤村志保）に兄と間違われた。狂四郎は、小夜の兄が自分の名を騙った張本人であろうと思い、問い詰めるが…

　　传记作家乔治赴瑞士采访卓别林（Robert Downey Jr 饰），后者将自己的故事娓娓道来……1894年的英国，小小年纪的卓别林已经开始为临时演员母亲救场，但失祜的困苦生活导致卓别林兄弟分离，母亲也因发疯入院。1903年，卓别林经哥哥介绍进入一家英国剧团开始自己的 演艺生涯，不久他打出名号，获得美国制片厂的邀请，在美国，卓别林接触到梦幻般的电影艺术，并用自己的灵气在电影这种媒介的帮助下名利双收。卓别林无法忘记自己的出身，掌握制片权后坚持在自己的影片中加入批判精神，也因此被扣上红色份子的帽子，惹上诸多麻烦。这位卓越的电影人经历了政治打压、情人们的离去、成功与失落后垂垂老矣，他在影院看着自己当年的电影，潸然泪下。
　　本片获1993年英国电影学院奖最佳男演员，伦敦影评人协会年度演员奖，芝加哥影评人协会奖最有前途女演员奖。

　　韩星贤（李政宰饰）搬到一个海边小屋，他为房屋取了一个意大利文的名字“Il Mare”，意思是“海”。整理房子时，他在信箱发现了一封内容很奇怪的信，信上写着“我是你搬来前的上一个房客，如果有收到我的信，请寄来”，更奇怪的是这封信寄出的日期是在1999年，也就是两年后——而星贤现在的时间是在1997年。星贤就立刻回信给这莫名其妙的人，询问是怎么回事。
　　1999年的金恩珠（全智贤饰）是个配音员，她发现回信的内容后，就开始常常写信给两年以前的星贤。男朋友去美国后已很少和她联络，后来他从美国回来，却已订婚。心碎的恩珠写信给星贤，拜托星贤到当年她和男友最后见面的那一天，去改变他们的命运，但星贤觉得很痛苦，因为他已爱上了恩珠……
