　　一九五八年的《开罗车站》（Cairo Station）是夏因其中一部早期经典，不过该片比时代先行，上映时被观众喝倒釆，同时也因对性及社会问题的描写而被禁足足有十二年。后来重见天日，广泛被推崇为最重要的阿拉伯电影之一。
　　夏因上阵自导自演，演活了一个卖报卫生的开罗小男人。化身成埃及版差利，闲时喜欢将杂质上的美女照片剪下来贴满他的车站小屋内，又爱上了在附近买柠檬水的惹火尤物。但通俗剧的形式，最终以小男人死于非命的反通俗剧结束，而他眼中的神圣不可侵犯的惹火尤物只不过是另一个男人的财物。
　　《开罗车站》被评为最先将新写实主义引进歌舞片充斥的埃及电影世界的作品。导演对埃及的性别政治以及不优良传统的关注和批判，已在此片尽露端倪。

　　After successfully leading his team to crack a major fraud case, the leader of the Anti-Fraud Society, Zeng Miao Zhu, uncovers an even larger conspiracy lurking in the shadows. He then assigns elite members Lam, Arrow, Big Mouth, and Ba Jie to infiltrate the money game controlled by Tang Gang. Their mission is to become the spokespersons for the project, quickly attracting a large influx of funds while simultaneously collecting evidence of criminal activity. 　　亮（吉冈秀隆饰）与家里的父亲发生了冲突，离家旅行到一个小镇，遇到了一家影院的经理活男（西田敏行饰），并留了下来工作，在影院工作的还有放映师常先生（田中邦卫饰），并认识了开咖啡店的八重子（田中裕子饰）。活男一直喜欢八重子，可惜后来终未能如愿，八重子离开了小镇。
