　　After the murder of her two Scandinavian friends in Morocco, A Russian blogger decides to do her own justice.

　　2017年に初演された同名舞台を映画化した本作。親友を亡くした引っ込み思案の女子高生・穴森一穂が1通の手紙を受け取り、謎の転校生が待つ夜の校舎へと向かうさまが描かれる。

　　寅次郎回来通知家人，打算跟他途中相识的单亲妈妈娟代订婚。当娟代失踪已久的丈夫再次出现后，寅次郎留下短信就离开了。在旅途中，寅次郎在津和野重遇旧相识歌子，而她的丈夫刚病逝。基于责任，她与夫家苛刻的父母一起生活。寅次郎劝说歌子来东京，并陪同她去见因反对婚事而对歌子疏远的作家父亲。寅次郎希望与歌子有所发展的意图落空，因歌子决定要奉献她的生命给弱智儿童。

　　根据鲁茂·戈登的原作改编，让·雷诺阿的首部彩色长片，是他和他的侄子摄影师在印度境内拍摄的影片，也是让·雷诺阿的一次感官与视觉之旅。
　　故事围绕三个年轻女孩的成长忧伤出发，让·雷诺阿以细致的笔触叙述古老孟加拉河流域的传奇故事。影片直接启发了一代印度大师萨蒂亚吉特·雷伊投入电影创作。

　　故事发生在1870年的英国，奇普斯（罗伯特·多纳特 Robert Donat 饰）来到布鲁菲学校，成为了那里的一名老师。因为年轻气盛加上没有经验，奇普斯和学生们的关系并不是太好，在学校里他始终都默默无闻。一晃眼二十年过去了，这样的情况依然没有改善。
　　一次偶然中，奇普斯在 前往奥地利旅游的途中邂逅了名为凯蒂（葛丽亚·嘉逊 Greer Garson 饰）的女子，温柔美丽的凯蒂深深吸引了奇普斯的注意，两人坠入了情网。凯蒂的柔情与浪漫让奇普斯坚硬冰冷的心渐渐融化，在和恋人相处的过程中，奇普斯也开始悟出了和学生的相处之道。之后，奇普斯在学校里步步高升最终坐上了校长的位子。

　　After his father&♯39;s death, the unemployed Aman returns to Kuala Lumpur and embarks illegally on a ride-hailing service, as he fails to obtain a driving license due to his color blindness. When his landlord chases him out of his rental accommodation, he ends up sleeping in his car. A chance encounter with Bella, a Chinese &♯39;escort girl&♯39;, grants Aman a temporary residence at her place. In return, she asks Aman to become her driver. As they become closer, Bella confides in Aman about her intention to leave Malaysia. Complications ensue when Bella finds herself pregnant and decides to have an abortion.

At the shooting he meets Milena, a girl his own age whom he begins to like. When the shooting is over, the film company gives him a present, a huge black Newfoundlander. 　　Two differences between this Austrian version and the generally available American version are immediately obvious: they differ both in their length and in the language of the intertitles. The American version is only 1,883 metres long - at 18 frames per second a difference of some 7 minutes to the Austrian version with 2,045 metres. Whereas we originally presumed only a negligible difference, resulting from the varying length of the intertitles, a direct comparison has nevertheless shown that the Austrian version differs from the American version both in the montage and in the duration of individual scenes. Yet how could it happen that the later regional distribution of a canonical US silent film was longer than the "original version"?
　　The prevalent American version of Blind Husbands does not correspond to the version shown at the premiere of 1919. This little-known fact was already published by Richard Koszarski in 1983. The film was re-released by Universal Pictures in 1924, in a version that was 1,365 feet (416 metres) shorter. At 18 frames per second, this amounts to a time difference of 20 minutes! "Titles were altered, snippets of action removed and at least one major scene taken out entirely, where von Steuben and Margaret visit a small local chapel." (Koszarski)
　　From the present state of research we can assume that all the known American copies of the film derive from this shortened re-release version, a copy of which Universal donated to the Museum of Modern Art in 1941. According to Koszarski the original negative of the film was destroyed sometime between 1956 and 1961 and has therefore been irretrievably lost. This information casts an interesting light on the Austrian version, which can be dated to the period between the summer of 1921 and the winter of 1922. Furthermore, the copy is some 200 metres longer than the US version of 1924. If one follows the details given by Richard Koszarski and Arthur Lennig, this means that, as far as both its date and its length are concerned, the Austrian version lies almost exactly in the middle between the (lost) version shown at the premiere and the re-released one.A large part of the additional length of the film can be traced to cuts that were made to the 1924 version in almost every shot. Koszarski describes how the beginning and the end of scenes were trimmed, in order to "speed up" the film. However, more exciting was the discovery that the Austrian version contains shots that are missing in the American one - shots/countershots, intertitles - and furthermore shows differences in its montage (i.e. the placing of the individual shots within a sequence). All this indicates that Die Rache der Berge constitutes the oldest and most completely preserved material of the film.
