故土的余响

　　未来某天，议员之子帕特里克·罗斯（贾斯汀·拉扎德 Justin Lazard 饰）乘坐远足号登陆火星，成为第一个踏足这个星球的地球人。一如当年的阿姆斯特朗，帕特里克成为全人类的英雄。然而始料未及的是，帕特里克将一种致命的DNA带回地球。人类开始面临新的灾难。
　　另一方面，由于塞尔曾给地球带来莫大的灾难，军方以及科学家们利用赛尔的基因制作了复制品夏娃（娜塔莎·亨斯特里奇 Natasha Henstridge 饰），旨在通过各种实验找到外星生命体的弱点所在。新的异种降临地球，夏娃体内沉睡已久的基因开始苏醒。冥冥中，帕特里克和夏娃都感到来自对方体内原始欲望的野性呼唤……

　　阿寅来到温泉边的小旅馆住下，刚好一位年轻人来此，他是为了了却母亲的心愿而来，他带来了母亲的骨灰，老人生前最喜欢这里的温泉，临终时还念念不忘甘霖般的温泉水。在阿寅的帮助下，他们在旅馆里为逝者做了法事。小伙子叫三郎，腼腆文静，他喜欢上一同出游的百货商场的女职员萤子，分手时向她表示了愿意与她交往的愿望。可是萤子却不以为然，于是他向阿寅寻求帮助，希望他从中牵线搭桥，阿寅一口应允。阿寅不辱使命，认真地找萤子沟通，可是她还是不同意。为了撮合两个年轻人，银屋一家安排了聚会，把他们叫到一起，制造了彼此接触的机缘，他们终于有了可以倾诉衷肠的机会。

　　德国小镇，面目狰狞的卡里加里博士（沃纳·克劳斯 Werner Krauss饰）终于获准表演催眠术。大学生弗朗西斯（弗里德里希·费赫尔 Friedrich Feher饰）和艾伦（汉斯·海因里希 Hans Heinrich von Twardowski饰）也来观看。疯狂的卡里加里博士向众人展示他是如何催眠和控制他的搭档凯撒（康拉德·韦特 Conrad Veidt饰），并向众人宣布：凯撒可以回答大家提出的所有问题。好奇的艾伦问道：我能活多久？病态的凯撒回答：活到明天凌晨。弗朗西斯并不相信，可艾伦却是满脸惊恐。随之，艾伦真的被杀害了。弗朗西斯把消息告诉了好朋友珍妮（丽尔·达戈沃 Lil Dagover饰）和她的医生父亲。他们展开了多方追捕，可惊人的秘密却丝丝入扣，到底谁才是真正的凶手？
　　本片是世界电影史上被谈论得最多的影片之一，是德国表现主义电影的里程碑之作。影片以其怪诞的表现主义风格，成为以后西方恐怖片为之效仿的鼻祖。1958年本片在比利时布鲁塞尔由26个国家117位电影史家评选为“世界电影12佳作”的第12名。

　　萨姆（斯宾塞·屈塞 Spencer Tracy 饰）是一名体育新闻记者，最近，他被一个女人给惹恼了，她就是同样身为记者的苔丝（凯瑟琳·赫本 Katharine Hepburn 饰）。苔丝总是在自己的专栏里抱怨体育运动是如此的无聊，而萨姆则在自己的专栏里和她针锋相对。
　　为了证明体育运动的魅力，萨姆和苔丝相约去看一场棒球比赛。毫不令人意外的，棒球赛结束之后，萨姆和苔丝双双坠入了情网。然而，两人的婚后生活却并不是风平浪静，截然不同的个性让他们在很多的琐事上都会爆发争吵。苔丝被选为了“时代女强人”，这让萨姆感到非常的吃醋，而为了让萨姆重新开心起来，苔丝做了一系列的努力却纷纷以失败收场。

　　拥有天赋的玛丽莲在追梦途中遭受了接连二三的打击，与演员生涯渐行渐远。一个偶然的机会让她决定重新振作起来，并在与自我的抗衡和挣扎中渐渐找到了属于自己的舞台。导演圭洛姆·加里尼曾凭处女作《男孩们和吉约姆》横扫法国凯撒奖五项大奖，片中更有凡妮莎·帕拉迪丝加盟。影片获得第30届东京电影节最佳女演员奖。

　　这部电影描述了一位作家哈蒙（John Cassavetes饰）和他的妹妹莎拉（Gena Rowlands饰）生命中的几天。电影中的大部分情节都是在哈蒙的家里发生的，他们在生活中挣扎：哈蒙过着极其颓废的生活，靠酒、烟、以及一段段短期的和女人的关系度日：或者是工作关系认识的女人，或是娱乐场所认识的女人。他也是一个非常不称职的父亲，把自己12岁的儿子扔在酒店的旅馆里里，甚至还教他学喝酒。而他的妹妹莎拉因为她的疯狂的言行正在和自己的丈夫离婚，她的女儿想要和父亲生活在一起，这给她极大的伤害，几乎精神崩溃。在电影的结尾，莎拉离开了哈蒙的家，和另外一个男人在一起，而哈蒙走到银幕前给观众说再见，也和自己的生命告别。

　　Two differences between this Austrian version and the generally available American version are immediately obvious: they differ both in their length and in the language of the intertitles. The American version is only 1,883 metres long - at 18 frames per second a difference of some 7 minutes to the Austrian version with 2,045 metres. Whereas we originally presumed only a negligible difference, resulting from the varying length of the intertitles, a direct comparison has nevertheless shown that the Austrian version differs from the American version both in the montage and in the duration of individual scenes. Yet how could it happen that the later regional distribution of a canonical US silent film was longer than the "original version"?
　　The prevalent American version of Blind Husbands does not correspond to the version shown at the premiere of 1919. This little-known fact was already published by Richard Koszarski in 1983. The film was re-released by Universal Pictures in 1924, in a version that was 1,365 feet (416 metres) shorter. At 18 frames per second, this amounts to a time difference of 20 minutes! "Titles were altered, snippets of action removed and at least one major scene taken out entirely, where von Steuben and Margaret visit a small local chapel." (Koszarski)
　　From the present state of research we can assume that all the known American copies of the film derive from this shortened re-release version, a copy of which Universal donated to the Museum of Modern Art in 1941. According to Koszarski the original negative of the film was destroyed sometime between 1956 and 1961 and has therefore been irretrievably lost. This information casts an interesting light on the Austrian version, which can be dated to the period between the summer of 1921 and the winter of 1922. Furthermore, the copy is some 200 metres longer than the US version of 1924. If one follows the details given by Richard Koszarski and Arthur Lennig, this means that, as far as both its date and its length are concerned, the Austrian version lies almost exactly in the middle between the (lost) version shown at the premiere and the re-released one.A large part of the additional length of the film can be traced to cuts that were made to the 1924 version in almost every shot. Koszarski describes how the beginning and the end of scenes were trimmed, in order to "speed up" the film. However, more exciting was the discovery that the Austrian version contains shots that are missing in the American one - shots/countershots, intertitles - and furthermore shows differences in its montage (i.e. the placing of the individual shots within a sequence). All this indicates that Die Rache der Berge constitutes the oldest and most completely preserved material of the film.

　　Desdemona lives on an isolated island with her strange family: her father Mario, her stepmother Dulcinea and her mentally challenged sister Paulova. As the only inhabitants on the island loneliness and desolation engulf all members of her family. Desdemona tries to ward off her boredom by taking long walks along the beach or engaging in acts of self-gratification. She often tries to seduce her own father Mario to engage in acts of a sexual nature. Their daily routine is interrupted by the arrival (by boat) of a robust male stranger who brings friction into Desdemona&♯39;s family.

　　梅约（理查·基尔 Richard Gere 饰）是一名预备海军飞行员，一次偶然中，他和朋友希德（大卫·凯斯 David Keith 饰）结识了名叫保拉（德博拉·温格 Debra Winger 饰）和琳奈特（丽萨·布伦特 Lisa Blount 饰）的两位女子，四人共度了一段充满了快乐的时光。
　　训练营里的生活非常之苦，要命的是，梅约竟然落到了从来都是以严格著称的福里（小路易斯·格赛特 Louis Gossett Jr. 饰）手里，境遇可想而知。琳奈特一心想傍一个飞行管，而保拉却深深的爱上了梅约，可是为了自己的前途，梅约和保拉最终还是分手了。琳奈特怀孕的消息让希德放弃了自己的大好前程，决定和琳奈特共度余生，可是，琳奈特已经不想再理会如今只是一介凡夫俗子的希德，不仅如此，她怀孕的消息也系捏造。受到了深深伤害的希德选择了自杀，而目睹这一切的梅约则失去了对保拉的信任。

　　乔治爵士（蒂姆·皮戈特-史密斯 Tim Pigott-Smith 饰）和海蒂（妮可莱特·谢里丹 Nicollette Sheridan 饰）决定举办一场热闹的乡村游园会，为了将游园会的气氛推向高潮，他们决定设置一场谋杀游戏。知名犯罪小说家阿瑞登（珍·斯塔普莱顿 Jean Stapleton 饰）同意为这场游戏提供一些好点子，她决定将案件的现场设置在乔治爵士所居住的纳塞庄园中，并且将案件的受害者一角给了年仅14岁的马琳（桑德拉·迪金森 Sandra Dickinson 饰）。
　　然而，就在一切都按照计划井然有序的进行时，赫邱勒（彼德·乌斯蒂诺夫 Peter Ustinov 饰）却接到了阿瑞登夫人的来电，他是她最信赖的朋友。在电话中，阿瑞登夫人坦诚，她所设置的谋杀游戏，有可能演变成一场真正的悲剧。
