　　佐藤良人（片冈直人 饰）的父亲在早年间去世了，留下良人和母亲安江（凉 饰）过着相依为命的生活。安江靠着经营烤肉店根岸苑养活良人，这家店也是她的丈夫给她留下的唯一一样财产。安江的烹饪手艺很好，根岸苑被她经营得井井有条，门庭若市，对于安江来说，能够一边制作美味的料理，一边看着儿子健康的长大，是她最快乐的事情。
　　然而，一切都在人气美食评论家古山（松尾谕 饰）对根岸苑发起了毫无根据的攻击之后改变了，店里的人气逐渐低迷，而良人也希望一直忙碌的母亲能够将更多的心思放在自己身上，于是，不久之后，根岸苑宣布闭店。

　　故事梗概：
　　帕西是一个不幸的女孩，在十二岁那年，母亲结交了一个新男朋友，从此她的噩梦就开始了。在十六岁那年，继父让帕西怀了孕，并在一次酒醉时，杀了刚刚出生的婴儿。忍无可忍的帕西终于爆发内中抑郁已久的愤怒，杀了继父。几年后，帕西因在狱中表现良好而提前出狱，面临着社会是否会接纳她等一系列问题。一个刚出狱的女孩，为了想重新开始一切，在一天夜里搬到偏僻的小镇，希望可以忘记从前的一切。在小镇警察局长的帮助下，帕西来到一家餐厅工作，烤肉店的孤身老太太翰娜收留了她，她觉得自己似乎得到了再次重生的机会。
　　然而纯朴的小镇，慢慢却因此而波涛暗涌。烤肉店来了个罪犯服务员的消息很快传遍了这个狭小的镇子，不少八卦的人还特意跑了看。而帕西也没有隐瞒自己曾经做过牢的消息，坦然面对大家。老太太翰娜竭尽全力保护这个受过伤害的女孩，并给与她充分的信任，而在烤肉店工作的过程中，帕西与翰娜的侄媳妇也成为了无话不谈的好朋友。但翰娜的侄子雷诺克却是个心胸狭窄的人，对刚刚出狱的帕西十分不放心，不仅多次让姑姑赶走帕西，还不准妻子与她交往。
　　自从儿子参军失踪，随后老伴去世后，翰娜就一直很想卖掉烤肉店，她已经太累了，想过过轻松的生活。但却一直苦于找不到合适的买主，帕西想出征文送店的点子让老太太高兴不已，但却遭到了雷诺克的大力反对。固执的老太太坚定自己的想法，在各大报纸刊登征文的消息，并且收到一大笔寄款。但就在这个时候，奇怪的事情发生了，巨款不翼而飞。所有人的目光都转向了帕西，这让她苦恼不已，而一个经常出没在森林里的疯子也受到了牵连。为了保护疯子，证明自己的清白，帕西付出了宝贵的生命，而此时，小镇上的人们才开始觉醒。
　　精彩视点：
　　本片根据著名作家安娜•拉布冈斯的小说改编，是好莱坞1996推出的一部温情题材的电影，影片刚一上映就赢得了一致好评。片中浪漫真挚的爱情、朋友之间纯洁真诚的友谊，相信定会让不少观众为之感动。该片的编剧兼导演是美国才华横溢的电影人李·大卫·齐龙特，他不仅导演多部大片，而且在编剧方面也有很高造诣。由他编剧并执导的电影《第三眼》最近也成为最热门的电影之一。
　　影片的女主角则是由经验老到的好莱坞资深女演员艾仳·帕斯特尼担任，她曾在《奇迹创造者》、《十二》、《云雀之歌》、《时间的皱纹》等多部著名影片中担当要角。在本片中，她出色地扮演了帕西的一角，把一个刚刚出狱的女孩突然面临生活变故后的复杂心情表现得惟妙惟肖。

　　故事发生在1870年的英国，奇普斯（罗伯特·多纳特 Robert Donat 饰）来到布鲁菲学校，成为了那里的一名老师。因为年轻气盛加上没有经验，奇普斯和学生们的关系并不是太好，在学校里他始终都默默无闻。一晃眼二十年过去了，这样的情况依然没有改善。
　　一次偶然中，奇普斯在 前往奥地利旅游的途中邂逅了名为凯蒂（葛丽亚·嘉逊 Greer Garson 饰）的女子，温柔美丽的凯蒂深深吸引了奇普斯的注意，两人坠入了情网。凯蒂的柔情与浪漫让奇普斯坚硬冰冷的心渐渐融化，在和恋人相处的过程中，奇普斯也开始悟出了和学生的相处之道。之后，奇普斯在学校里步步高升最终坐上了校长的位子。

　　丹尼尔•希拉德（罗宾•威廉斯 饰）因与同事产生摩擦而辞掉了配音员的工作。家中可爱的孩子给了他十足的快乐，于是丹尼尔在儿子生日的时候，与孩子们疯狂的玩耍起来。当妻子米兰（莎莉•菲尔德 饰）达看到家中一片狼藉后十分生气。面对不争气的丈夫，米兰达决定与之离婚，因为没有工作，丹尼尔也失去了孩子的抚养权。
　　丹尼尔对孩子们无比思念，突发奇想乔装成一名老太太——道特菲尔太太应聘成为妻子家中的佣人。不懂家务的丹尼尔闹出了不少的笑话，却无形中为米兰达减轻了负担，孩子们也开始依赖这名“老太太”，“道特菲尔太太”成为了他们家中的重要一员，丹尼尔也因此改变了不少。
　　但面对米兰达的新男友的恋情，“道特菲尔太太”暗中捣乱。米兰达生日当天，丹尼尔需要以真实身份与“道特菲尔太太”的身份周旋与电视台主管与米兰达之间，使他狼狈不看。匆忙间会否被米兰达识破身份呢？

　　寅次郎收到莉莉從沖繩寄來的信，原來她在夜總會唱歌時暈倒入院，還說：「臨死前，很想見寅一面」。寅馬上趕到沖繩照顧莉莉，縱然闊別了五年，兩人的感情有增無減，莉莉休養期間，寅更隨傳隨到，旁人都以為他們是夫妻……淺丘瑠璃子演的莉莉第三度登場，叫寅再三考慮「結婚問題」。山田自言「這是我最愛的作品之一」，渥美清去世後，山田在《男人之苦》系列中只選了本片(加插新片段)推出特別版來紀念這位一代巨星。

The personal favourite of Yamada Yoji , Tora-san&♯39;s Tropical Fever was the only film re-released (with added scenes) by the director to commemorate Atsumi Kiyoshi after the superstar&♯39;s death.

　　Mr. Bean and Teddy venture into the loft to look for an umbrella and uncover items from past experiences, like the time Mr. Bean had to dress himself on the way to the dentist, or the time he fell asleep in moxia.cc church or when the Christmas turkey wound up on his head and even the time a tank crushed his Mini.

The Man Next Door

　　吉他手埃尔（安东尼奥•班德拉斯 Antonio Banderas 饰）靠在夜总会表演为生。一天，他的女友遭到了当地的一个大毒枭的枪杀，而埃尔的左手也遭到枪击，从此不能再弹吉他了。于是，埃尔的吉他盒子里放的不再是吉他，而是武器装备。他带着他的吉他盒子穿过一个又一个街头，为的是为女友报仇雪恨。大毒枭得知埃尔正在寻仇，于是派出手下前来暗杀他。危难关头，埃尔幸得美女卡罗琳娜（萨尔玛•海耶克 Salma Hayek 饰）相救。大难不死，更加坚定了埃尔报仇的决心。

　　Two differences between this Austrian version and the generally available American version are immediately obvious: they differ both in their length and in the language of the intertitles. The American version is only 1,883 metres long - at 18 frames per second a difference of some 7 minutes to the Austrian version with 2,045 metres. Whereas we originally presumed only a negligible difference, resulting from the varying length of the intertitles, a direct comparison has nevertheless shown that the Austrian version differs from the American version both in the montage and in the duration of individual scenes. Yet how could it happen that the later regional distribution of a canonical US silent film was longer than the "original version"?
　　The prevalent American version of Blind Husbands does not correspond to the version shown at the premiere of 1919. This little-known fact was already published by Richard Koszarski in 1983. The film was re-released by Universal Pictures in 1924, in a version that was 1,365 feet (416 metres) shorter. At 18 frames per second, this amounts to a time difference of 20 minutes! "Titles were altered, snippets of action removed and at least one major scene taken out entirely, where von Steuben and Margaret visit a small local chapel." (Koszarski)
　　From the present state of research we can assume that all the known American copies of the film derive from this shortened re-release version, a copy of which Universal donated to the Museum of Modern Art in 1941. According to Koszarski the original negative of the film was destroyed sometime between 1956 and 1961 and has therefore been irretrievably lost. This information casts an interesting light on the Austrian version, which can be dated to the period between the summer of 1921 and the winter of 1922. Furthermore, the copy is some 200 metres longer than the US version of 1924. If one follows the details given by Richard Koszarski and Arthur Lennig, this means that, as far as both its date and its length are concerned, the Austrian version lies almost exactly in the middle between the (lost) version shown at the premiere and the re-released one.A large part of the additional length of the film can be traced to cuts that were made to the 1924 version in almost every shot. Koszarski describes how the beginning and the end of scenes were trimmed, in order to "speed up" the film. However, more exciting was the discovery that the Austrian version contains shots that are missing in the American one - shots/countershots, intertitles - and furthermore shows differences in its montage (i.e. the placing of the individual shots within a sequence). All this indicates that Die Rache der Berge constitutes the oldest and most completely preserved material of the film.
