　　The Doll is an adaptation of the novel, The Doll (novel) by Bolesław Prus, which is regarded by many as one of the finest Polish novels ever written and, along with Pharaoh (novel), made Bolesław Prus a potential candidate for the Nobel Prize in literature. The influence of Émile Zola is evident, and some have compared the novel to Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert; both were Prus&♯39;s contemporaries. The movie, however, may be more compared to Stendhal&♯39;s Le Rouge et le Noir, (The Red and the Black).
　　The Doll constitutes a panorama of life in Warsaw between 1878 and 1879, and at the same time is a subtle story of three generations of Polish idealists, their psychological complications, their involvement in the history of the nineteenth century, social dramas, moral problems and the experience of tragic existence. At the same time this story describes the disintegration of social relationships and the growing separation of a society whose aristocratic elite spreads the models of vanity and idleness. In the bad air of a backward country, anti-Semitic ideas are born, valuable individuals meet obstacles on their way, and scoundrels are successful.
　　This poetic love story follows a nouveau riche merchant, Stanislaw Wokulski, through a series of trials and tribulations occasioned by his obsessive passion for an aristocratic beauty, Izabela Lecka, played by the famous Polish actress, Beata Tyszkiewicz.
　　Plot:
　　As a descendant of an impoverished Polish noble family, young Wokulski is forced to work as a waiter at Hopfer&♯39;s, a Warsaw restaurant, while dreaming of a life in science. After taking part in the failed 1863 Uprising against Tsarist Russia, he is sentenced to exile in Siberia. On eventual return to Warsaw, he becomes a salesman at Mincel&♯39;s haberdashery. Marrying the late owner&♯39;s widow (who eventually dies), he comes into money and uses it to set up a partnership with a Russian merchant he had met while in exile. The two merchants go to Bulgaria during the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-78, and Wokulski makes a fortune supplying the Russian Army. The enterprising Wokulski now proves a romantic at heart, falling in love with Izabela, daughter of the vacuous, bankrupt aristocrat, Tomasz Łęcki. In his quest to win Izabela, Wokulski begins frequenting theatres and aristocratic salons; and to help her financially distressed father, founds a company and sets the aristocrats up as shareholders in his business.The indolence of these aristocrats, who secure with their pensions, are too lazy to undertake new business risks, frustrates Wokulski. His ability to make money is respected but his lack of family and social rank is condescended to. Because of his "help" (in secret) to Izabela&♯39;s impecunious but influential father, the girl becomes aware of his affection. In the end she consents to accept him, but without true devotion or love.(wikipedia)

　　妹妹在有一次挑战喜马拉雅山脉西麓高耸入云的K2峰时遇险，全队困在高峰上的岩洞里。由于食物与药物的紧缺，他们的生命岌岌可危。为了营救妹妹，彼得不惜生命危险，再次登上喜马拉雅山，展开与时间的竞赛和对自然极限的挑战。

　　面对岁月挑战的老猎手，和自己收养的狐狸一起，彼此都成全了彼此的追逐。没有任何一部描写人与动物关系的影片具有如此的震撼力。

　　日本土耳其合作电影《海难1890》
　　该片根据真人真事改编，故事发生在1890年9月的日本和歌山县串本町大岛的附近海域，来自土耳其的大使团乘坐的军舰发生沉船事故，船上618人跌入大海，导致五百多人丧生，共有69名幸存者在当地民众的营救下脱险。这一沉船救人事件，至今印刻在土耳其人民的心中。

　　出生于韩国的弗雷迪，自少便被领养家庭带到法国生活。25岁那年原本要去东京旅行，却因遇上台风而转游首尔，继而开展了一段寻根之旅。在法国成长的她，与亲生父母有着全然不同的文化，使这趟突如其来的旅程引发出更深层的身份思考，也将她的人生引领至始料未及的方向。

　　女儿艾玛（德博拉•温格 Debra Winger 饰）是妈妈奥罗拉（雪莉•麦克雷恩 Shirley MacLaine 饰）的心肝宝贝，自小开始，奥罗拉就帮艾玛安排好一切，艾玛的言谈举止、修饰打扮、学习、玩耍、交朋友等等都必须经过奥罗拉同意。
　　在丈夫早逝后，奥罗拉操持起家里的一切，对艾玛更加“专制”。艾玛虽然表明很温柔、软弱，但是内心却十分倔强。两母女也因此多次吵架。奥罗拉一直没再接受其他男人的追求，艾玛也在和母亲相依相偎、磕磕绊绊中长大。
　　长大后的艾玛开始极力摆脱母亲的“专制”：她不顾母亲的反对，嫁给了一个工作不稳定的研究生……她花了三十年去摆脱母亲的“专制”，到头来却发现自己对母亲的始终不忘的依依亲情。

　　昭和38年，明石组系与神和会系两派发动的广岛战争愈演愈烈，期间不断有无辜市民遇害。受舆论和民众的巨大压力，警方动员所有力量，发动名为“顶上作战”的打击黑势力的行动。
　　广能昌三（菅原文太 饰）为壮大实力，说服中立派义西会会长冈岛友次（小池朝雄 饰）加入明石一派。同时，广能组干部河西清（八名信夫 饰）被刺，双方战争扩大化，袭击事件频发。明石组岩井（梅宫辰夫 饰）出计借河西葬礼之际集结西日本同盟，给山守组突然袭击。然计划被打本（加藤武 饰）泄漏，山守义雄（金子信雄 饰）向警方检举，广能被捕。之后广能组成员遇袭、冈岛被刺等一系列事件使明石一派处于劣势。但很快义西会干部藤田正一（松方弘树 饰）填补空缺，和山守组少壮派武田明（小林旭 饰）展开新一轮对抗。
　　而警方针对所有黑帮干部的行动也同时开始……

　　22年前，诺曼贝兹在自家的旅馆中，刺杀了正在淋浴的女房客玛莉莲，而被关进了精神病院，一关就是22年。如今，加州政府根据医生的诊断决定让他重回社会，他获释后，返回了山丘上的破旧旅馆。诺曼在当地一家餐馆中找到了新工作，担任厨师的助手，因此认识了年轻的女服务生玛丽，两人坠入了情网。但是不久后，诺曼却在自家的窗口，看到了死去的母亲，接下来，小镇上便发生了一连串的谋杀案，这些凶杀案会是诺曼的所作所为吗？他真的痊愈了吗？

　　A former aristocratic family faces financial hardship and their daughter is introduced to a nice man in the auto repair business, the hope being that a marriage might be of economic assistance to the family. The daughter&♯39;s family finds it hard to accept this kind of idea and the young man is uncomfortable with the difference in their social standing. However, everything works out in the end and a happy marriage takes place.

　　坊间流传着一个恐怖的传说，它和一盒神秘的录像带有关，传说中，凡是看过这盘录像带的人，会在七天之后死亡。理性至上的女记者凯勒（娜奥米·沃茨 Naomi Watts 饰）只将此当成是一个玩笑，可侄女凯蒂（爱波·塔布琳 Amber Tamblyn 饰）的死却让她的信仰产生了动摇。凯勒的姐姐告诉凯勒，凯蒂曾和三个同学一起看过一盘诡异的录像带，而这三位同学无一例外都死于了非命。
　　凯勒决定着手调查此事，她找到了凯蒂曾经看过的录像带并看了录像带中的内容，之后，一个神秘的电话预示了凯勒死期已近。想要活命，凯勒就必须在七天之内找到录像带诅咒的真相，时间紧迫，凯勒最终能够成功脱险吗？

　　1987年，加斯帕尔·诺埃夹着40分钟长度的电影炸弹《马肉》（Carne）进驻了戛纳电影节，拉开了他对社会宣战的序曲。《马肉》开始就是血淋淋的杀马镜头，诺埃采用了后来成为主流电影时髦的“主人公冷叙述法”（《天使爱美丽》的开场叙述），讲述一个马肉店小老板、一个面无表情、缺乏情调、内心封闭的屠夫，日复一日、年复一年过着枯燥生活。面对女儿越来越成熟的肉体他产生了无以自拔的欲望，最终他误以为女儿被人强奸而把屠刀插进了那个家伙的嘴巴。影片弥漫着压抑、干燥、冷冽的气息，画面始终弥漫着血污一样的红，一种暴雨过后阴沟翻滚的腐朽气息，一副肆无忌惮的颓废和末世色彩。奇怪的机位（经常切掉人的眼睛）、僵直的动作，影片除了少量从广播里传出的音乐，令人印象最深的就是不断出现的沉重顿音，让人害怕和不安。
　　《马肉》在视听语言和社会批判上的直接性令人猝不及防、目瞪口呆。影片开始就明目张胆地写出“本片会让青少年观众产生严重的心理不适”等字样，这类对那些已走进电影院、坐在椅子上的观众毫无意义的警示，在他后来的电影作品不断出现，成为他独一无二的标签。他在电影中直接与观众对话，在《我企硬》结尾的暴力幻想戏之前，诺埃以数秒倒计时的方式请某些保守派观众提前离场。看这样一部电影，你不但会被导演的勇气感到不寒而栗，也会感到他就像一个玩世不恭、心思缜密的流氓，带着冷嘲热讽的表情从人性的最底层猛烈强暴这个世界，甚至还有几分幽默感。在西文中，“玩世不恭”与“犬儒主义”是一个词，它代表一种态度，而我们则经常把这两个词分开用，在中国似乎只有王朔身上高度集中了这两个词的共同含义，玩世不恭地一个都不放过。
　　《马肉》获得了戛纳电影节国际影评人周奖，很多人劝诺埃拍一部《马肉》的加长版，于是他用了7年时间拍摄了《马肉》的续篇《我企硬》，走向了偏执狂的极限。1985年，他让他的爸爸在自己的短片里演了精神变态杀手，1997年，他自己在好友让·古南（Jan Kounen）的《太保密码》中客串一个卖土耳其烤肉的混混。诺埃与让·古南出现在一起并不奇怪，他们都是电影偏执狂，都对世界毫不让步，都疯狂尝试致幻剂，都拍摄出令人惊心动魄的画面。
