反正我就废

　　東宝ビデオのシネパック第一弾として、1991年11月8日にリリースされたのがこの『ミカドロイド』である。
　　第二次大戦末期、敗色濃厚な日本。その中で帝国陸軍が極秘裏に研究していた秘密兵器、それが人造人間“ジンラ號”。敗戦とともに歴史から抹消されたジンラ號であったが、空襲で埋没した研究所の中、眠り続けていた一体があった。そして今、半世紀の歳月を経て、ジンラ號が東京の地下に蘇る！　ふとした偶然でその地下迷宮に迷い込んでしまった若い男女二人は何を見るのか？　未完成の人造人間として老いる事も出来ずに彷徨い続けてきた謎の男、彼は一体何を望むのか？　本作は舞台となる場所と時間が狭い範囲に限定されているため、物語の密度が濃く、一夜限りの幻想的な悪夢のような作品となっている。
　　ジンラ號のデザインを担当したのはイラストレーターの明日蘭。蒸気機関車のような旧式なラインでまとめられているジンラ號は一見ユーモラスで鈍重な外見だが、内に潜ませた悪夢と狂気が不思議な説得力を持ち、印象深い仕上がりとなっている。またジンラ號専用武器として設計されたという設定の“１００式短機関銃改「ベ式」テラ銃”は、当時の落下傘部隊が使用した実銃をモチーフにいかにもそれらしくまとめられており、ジンラ號の設定をよりリアルな物としている。その他、南部十四年式拳銃や９６式軽機関銃などの各種プロップガンもリアルな作動シーンを見せて画面を引き締めている。
　　監督を務めたのは特殊メイククリエイターとして有名な原口智生。本作は原口自身が長年あたためてきた企画で、原口の監督デビュー作となった。

　　自從開始上天主教慕道課以來，恪守教義的少女瑪麗亞便遠離了流行文化，抵抗撒旦化身的種種誘惑。長大之後，嚴厲的母親仍以絕對威權的方式，約束她的生活起居與交友狀況。虔誠的瑪麗亞不但努力達到要求，為了讓罹患自閉症的弟弟能開口說話，她暗自做了一個危險的決定。
　　《少女的歧禱》以工整完美的形式，呼應片中角色的極端行徑。全片十四則標題，借典自耶穌赴難的章回短篇；十四段長鏡頭，築架出儀式般的嚴謹結構，再再讓人聯想起一九五○年羅塞里尼執導的《聖法蘭西斯之花》。不同的是，本片看似冷靜側寫瑪麗亞追求信仰而犧牲奉獻的心路歷程，實則以強烈批判性的諷喻口吻，探討極端的信仰狂熱如何成為威權高壓統治的變種，魄力驚人。

　　在远离喧嚣城市的海港小镇波乐里，生活着几名无忧无虑当然也倍感无聊的男人：石井（赤井英和 饰）、津田（竹中直人 饰）、富田（冢本晋也 饰）、中江（温水洋一 饰）、森下（津田宽治 饰）以及松本（浅野忠信 饰）。他们是当地消防队的队员，无奈此地已18年之久未发生火灾，所以石井等人除了每天的例行练习外百无聊赖，竟隐隐期盼火灾的发生。这一天，美丽女子日比野桃子（铃木京香 饰）的到来打破小镇的宁静，更让一众苦命单身汉兴奋不已。在这些人中间，属石井表现最为积极，羞涩腼腆的他用各种各样笨拙的方法引起他的注意，而消防队的好朋友们虽然对桃子也有好感，但还是千方百计成全着石井的爱恋……

　　不久的将来，一名警官专门研究出故障的机器人。当一个机器人被编程用来杀人时，他开始揭露一个制造杀人机器人的杀人阴谋...他的儿子成了目标。

　　马克（卡尔亨兹·伯恩 Karlheinz Böhm 饰）是一名摄影师，热爱摄影的他随身都携带着他父亲留给他的一台手持摄影机。一起连环杀人案件在城中引起了恐慌，被害者均为女性，死去时，她们的脸上布满了极为恐惧的表情，而仪表堂堂的马克，就是犯下这些可怕罪行的真凶。原来，马克的父亲是一位研究儿童恐惧的心理学家，作为他的实验对象，从小马克就被各种各样突如其来的惊吓所包围，这样长久的恐惧和压抑导致了他扭曲的性格，也成为了一切惨剧的导火索。
　　一次偶然，马克被邻居海伦（安娜·玛西 Anna Massey 饰）的美貌所吸引，正当他准备对海伦下手时却犹豫了。海伦的天真美好暂时治愈了马克的童年创伤，但时常肆虐的疯狂却又让他陷入了与天性的自我纠葛中。接连犯案的马克引起了警方的注意，而在被捕之际，绝望的马克选择了自我毁灭。

　　大炊介高央は田宮神剣流道場の嫡男で、秀才の誉れが高かったが、師範代で妹みぎわの許婚者である吉岡進之助を道場で斬殺してからは、常軌を逸した行動がめだった。愛息の狂態を案じた父高茂は思案のあげく学友四人をつけて紀州の田宮家に閉じ込めた。庄屋の瀬木久兵衛や百姓娘うめを斬ったり娘なおを山菱に拉致したりの相かわらずの行状を知った高茂は、心ならずも高央の命を縮めることを決意柾木兵衛を送った。幼友達の兵衛は紀州に出かけて高央の行状を探ると意外にも斬られた男は女ぐせの悪い者ばかりということがわかった。高央乱心の噂は幕府にまで聞え、高央を殺すべく家老の帯刀が紀州にやってい来た。兵衛が山葵に高央を訪れ詰問したところ、高央はショッキングな事実を告白するのだった。高央はかつて吉岡から自分が不義の子であると知らされた。以来高央は女ぐせの悪い男達をみると狂気の様に斬ったり、家庭の複雑な娘達のよき相談相手となっていたというのだ。刀を抜いてすごんだ侍十数人もこの事実を聞いて刀を下すのだった。

　　面对岁月挑战的老猎手，和自己收养的狐狸一起，彼此都成全了彼此的追逐。没有任何一部描写人与动物关系的影片具有如此的震撼力。

　　A special sideshow torture exhibit has the power, according to showman Dr. Diablo, to warn people of evil in their futures. As skeptical customers are shown the greed and violence they&♯39;re hiding, one of them snaps and kills Diablo. When they run off, we see the murder to be staged as part of the show. One of the customers has hung around to see this, and wants to make a deal with Diablo, aka the Devil.
　　A very good anthology of tales, written by Robert Bloch and directed by Freddie FRancis, for Amicus, an icon of this kind of movie. The tales are uneven, sure, but they are all at least good, till the perfect final one, the Man who collected Poe, with Jack Palance and Peter Cushing, a great idea, and a marvelous tale to watch. Very good Burgess Meredith as Diabolo the Great, the host for these tales. Unfortunately for us all, this kind of movies are a thing from the past and today we don&♯39;t get any more gems like this. A must see

　　今世为何而生？此生为谁而爱？谜样的女子，究竟是他死去的女儿？抑或是他死去的恋人？她们彼此相异，却又如此相似……

　　Gawain was a squire in King Arthur&♯39;s court when the Green Knight burst in and offered to play a game with a brave knight. No knights stand to defend their king&♯39;s honor. Except for the valiant Gawain. After being quickly knighted Gawain plays the game, but learns that it&♯39;s all a trick, and he has lost. But the Green Knight shows mercy, letting Gawain grow a year older before having to face the consequences. Gawain journeys across the land, learning about life, saving damsels, and solving the Green Knight&♯39;s riddle. Written by Sean Kilby and Jason Parker

　　Two differences between this Austrian version and the generally available American version are immediately obvious: they differ both in their length and in the language of the intertitles. The American version is only 1,883 metres long - at 18 frames per second a difference of some 7 minutes to the Austrian version with 2,045 metres. Whereas we originally presumed only a negligible difference, resulting from the varying length of the intertitles, a direct comparison has nevertheless shown that the Austrian version differs from the American version both in the montage and in the duration of individual scenes. Yet how could it happen that the later regional distribution of a canonical US silent film was longer than the "original version"?
　　The prevalent American version of Blind Husbands does not correspond to the version shown at the premiere of 1919. This little-known fact was already published by Richard Koszarski in 1983. The film was re-released by Universal Pictures in 1924, in a version that was 1,365 feet (416 metres) shorter. At 18 frames per second, this amounts to a time difference of 20 minutes! "Titles were altered, snippets of action removed and at least one major scene taken out entirely, where von Steuben and Margaret visit a small local chapel." (Koszarski)
　　From the present state of research we can assume that all the known American copies of the film derive from this shortened re-release version, a copy of which Universal donated to the Museum of Modern Art in 1941. According to Koszarski the original negative of the film was destroyed sometime between 1956 and 1961 and has therefore been irretrievably lost. This information casts an interesting light on the Austrian version, which can be dated to the period between the summer of 1921 and the winter of 1922. Furthermore, the copy is some 200 metres longer than the US version of 1924. If one follows the details given by Richard Koszarski and Arthur Lennig, this means that, as far as both its date and its length are concerned, the Austrian version lies almost exactly in the middle between the (lost) version shown at the premiere and the re-released one.A large part of the additional length of the film can be traced to cuts that were made to the 1924 version in almost every shot. Koszarski describes how the beginning and the end of scenes were trimmed, in order to "speed up" the film. However, more exciting was the discovery that the Austrian version contains shots that are missing in the American one - shots/countershots, intertitles - and furthermore shows differences in its montage (i.e. the placing of the individual shots within a sequence). All this indicates that Die Rache der Berge constitutes the oldest and most completely preserved material of the film.

　　"Run Fast Or Fly High" brings back slapstick comedy to the 21st Century. Fasten your seat belts.
